The African Development Bank (http://www.AfDB.org) is joining forces with the United Nations Environment Programme to advance implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework in Africa (KMGBF). She said: “The African Development Bank recognizes the importance of biodiversity finance in complementing existing development assistance and climate finance to African countries. To that end, the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) adopted the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework for protecting nature and halting biodiversity loss around the world.
